Nutrition Institute South Africa
Suzan has a lifelong interest in nutrition and health. The journey began when she first entered nursing school, after which she gained many years of experience in the profession. The application of nutrition to health and well-being has always been a central focus, and she has used her experience and medical exposure to advise professional colleagues, patients and family with success.
She has had the privilege of having worked in several different countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. Her career has spanned several specialized procedural and surgical areas such as Operating Theater, High Care, Internal Medicine and for a time Cardiac Cath Lab. She is a qualified RN and holds a M.Sc.N cum laude from the University of Stellenbosch. She has a postgraduate diploma in Administration and a certification in Pharmacology.
Her interests are broad and eclectic. She is passionate about the arts, especially ballet and film. She dabbles in drawing, painting and pewter work, and tries to write haiku. She is an ardent animal lover with dogs and horses her favorite animals by far.
She has a wicked sense of humor and has decided that she is learning the value of laughing loudly and often, which sometimes frightens the neighbors.
